The best thing about today...

After 10hrs of sitting down with NO sleep, I was exhausted and hungry. My sister and I got stuck with the seats in the very middle, like E49 center seats. Thinking, how much worse can it get, an old man sits right next to me and well... I think i jinxed myself. He could really snore, and when he slept I swear he was staring at me the whole time. The good think is that it wasn't too cold or too hot, it was just fine. As soon as we got off that plane the feeling of releif swept over the faces of all the people. It's 5:30 in the morning, fresh cool air opens our eyes to the beautiful city of Chicago...

... with the dramatic time change, 5 hours, sleep is not on schedule. When we arrived at our grandparents house in Minooka, we made breakfast. Eggs, potatoes, and toast. Yummy! Afterwards cleaned up, sat down on the sofa and crashed! Could not stay awake...

...ok beauty sleep is over and its time to see my family and puppies!!

...there are 4 brunettes and 3 blackies... so cute!

...after we took care of the dogs we headed out to OCB (old country buffet). Its the best food I've had in a while. Home sweet home, all you can eat, tators and meat. I went there with my 2 sisters, auntie and uncle, and my little cousin. I love them to death.
On the left side is my older sister Sarah, then my younger sister Jessica and next my Uncle Gary. On the right is my little cousin Allen and my Aunt Tammy.

I'm so jealous. You got to eat at OCB. We need one here. I ate at one in Feb. when I went to Oregon to visit my family.
The puppies are SOOOOOO cute.
Are you still training there? It's hard to on vacation. I had planned on running when I was in Oregon and ended up mall walking one time. That was the only workout I got the whole time there. Well Have fun visiting your family. See you when you get back.

So when are you coming home??? We miss you at swimming 101. We got a letter from Daniel. He wrote it right after processing so he hadn't done too much in the way of exercise, but he was a little sore from what he had done. He didn't write much more than that. Hopefully his next letter will have more news.
See you soon,
Karen
